Most of us would do just about anything for our pets, but man’s best friend might be at risk once again if you’re using one very popular dog food brand. The formerly reputable company has been scrambling to get out the word and recall all of their tainted products before further harm is done. Apparently, there was a “mistake in their ingredients” that could cause a glandular defect.
This mistake is causing everything from weight gain, extreme thirst, heart issues, restlessness as well as increased respiration. So pretty much a whole lot things that you don’t want happening to your beloved pets are going to happen if you keep using this brand.
The company in question, Blue Buffalo is recalling most of their BLUE wilderness products after the mistake was identified in their products. With not only their reputation, but the lives of what many consider to be members of their family in the balance, the rush to fix this mistake is on
Via Faith Family America:
“One of the more popular dog food brands, Blue Wilderness, has just issued a voluntary recall after a mistake in their ingredients was just discovered. The announcement comes after many other consumer products have also been recalled in past months.
According to the FDA, Blue Buffalo Company is voluntarily recalling one production lot of BLUE Wilderness® Rocky Mountain RecipeTM Red Meat Dinner Wet Food for Adult Dogs, as the product has the potential to contain elevated levels of naturally- occurring beef thyroid hormones.
